Tis headline basically
reads as a pop-cultural Mad Libs, doesn’t it? TMZ has—as is their way—unearthed
some very surprising and very watchable footage, taken outside the after-party
that rapper and Kylie Jenner paramour Tyga held last night, following the
Grammys, at a nightclub called Argyle (this only gets better—erm,
“better”!). As you can see in the clip,
Paul McCartney rolls up to the soiree with last year’s album-of-the-year
winner, Beck, as well as Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins. The TMZ reporter
peppers him with the usual sort of aggressive questioning (“What’s your
favorite Rolling Stones song?”), before McCartney and friends, as captured
on-camera, are denied entry into the party. McCartney quips, after learning
this, “How V.I.P. do we gotta get? We need another hit.” After a few seconds,
the group actually leaves—yes, that’s right, Paul McCartney was turned away
from a Grammys after-party, hosted by Tyga, and wasn’t able to rectify the
situation, and was forced to leave.
Later, TMZ asked Tyga
and Bow Wow about McCartney-gate and . . . neither seemed too alarmed. (We do
enjoy Bow Wow’s suggestion: “Maybe it’s the fact that we’re younger than Paul .
. . and we really club and we really go out.”)
