Celebrities got in on
the excitement on Sunday for the Super Bowl, held inside Levi's Stadium in
Santa Clara, California. And several went to Instagram to share their
enthusiasm for the game, which will see the Denver Broncos take on the Carolina
Panthers. David Beckham, Julianne Hough, Nina Dobrev, Katharine McPhee, Mariska
Hargitay, Ryan Seacrest, Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio,Justin Bieber and Lady Gaga -
who is singing the National Anthem - as well as Chris Martin - the halftime
show star - all declared their rush for the big game on social media. On Sunday
morning Gaga shared a hello to her fans eager to see the diva perform her
version of the American favorite. In an Instagram post the Poker Face hit maker
posed makeup free with her two dogs in messy bed with white sheets. On her head
was a Super Bowl 50 cap with sequins.
The caption for her
snap read: 'I CANT WAIT TO SING FOR YOU ALL, get your dogs and chicken wings
marinating it's almost game time!! Later on Sunday she was seen all glammed up
while getting a ride in a golf cart. Also sharing on Sunday was Justin Bieber
who posted a few snaps from San Francisco. In one he was standing with
girlfriend Hailey Baldwin, who he was thought to be split from. Julianne Hough
shared a few snaps with a large group of pals. In the group was her brother
Derek Hough and best friend Nina Dobrev. And Broncos fan Kate Hudson posted a few
photos of herself with her brother, actor Oliver Hudson, saying they wished
brother Wyatt Russell could have come along too.
David Beckham also
posted a photo of 16-year-old son Brooklyn showing off their Super Bowl tickets
as they headed to the stadium on Sunday. 'SUPER BOWL BABY,' David wrote. 'My
boys first one so you can see by his face he is excited.' American Idol host
Ryan Seacrest also shared a selfie during the halftime show, which featured
Beyonce, Coldplay and Bruno Mars. Models Alessandra Ambrosio, Adriana Lima and
Irina Shayk also shared photos before the big game. Adriana shared a selfie
showing off her 'golden pass' as she posed in bright red lipstick and large
sunglasses. Brazilian beauty Alessandra posted a photo where she was in a
red jersey. Alessandra has been in the city by the bay to soak up the fun
at the SB50 parties.
Singer Alicia Keys also
shared a photo of herself soaking up the atmosphere in San Francisco a few
hours before the big game. The singer, who performed at a pre-Super Bowl show
on Friday, wore a turban and silver hoop earrings. Law & Order: SVU star
Mariska Hargitay also attended the big game with husband Peter Hermann, and
shared a selfie and a goofy photo as they arrived at the stadium. Also
attending the Super Bowl were Scorpion stars Katharine McPhee and British
boyfriend and costar Elyes Gabel, who appeared to be brushing up on his lines
before kickoff. 'Poor Walter has too many lines,' American Idol alum Katharine
captioned the photo as she gave a thumbs up. Kourtney Kardashian posted a
throwback photo with sister Khloe and pal Adrienne Bailon from 2009 when they
were at a pre SB party in Florida. Khloe didn't look like her normal self as
this was before her glam-formation.
This year the famous
halftime show will be performed by Coldplay, who will be joined on stage by
Beyonce. This may be Beyonce's footprint,' the Coldplay frontman jokes in the
video. 'I'd say she was here about four hours ago. Let's look for a Bruno one.
Bruno Mars is also involved. He is no stranger to halftime shows, having shared
the 2014's Super Bowl XLVIII one with the Red Hot Chilly Peppers. Nor is
Beyonce, who performed alongside her Destiny's Child sisters Kelly Rowland and
Michelle Williams the year before. On Tuesday, Lady Gaga was also confirmed as
a performer at this year's Grammy Awards the following weekend. E! reported
that the Mother Monster will deliver an 'Experiential' tribute to the late
David Bowie who will also be receiving a posthumous Lifetime Achievement Award.
We had already booked Lady Gaga on this year's show, but when David passed -
almost in a single moment - we knew we had to change direction,' said Grammys
executive producer Ken Ehrlich. We immediately spoke and agreed that she should
be the one to honor David. She's perfect for it.
